THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:
This combination is used in the treatment of tuberculosis. Isoniazid prevents these bacteria from forming their own protective covering. together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection. ethambutol, on the other hand works by slowing the growth of these bacteria.
